A downloadable game

This project has been a collaboration effort between Etiqa Sdn Bhd. and Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU). A mobile game of industrial quality is expected by the client, which in this case would be Etiqa and their team. The mobile game would be implemented to their existing mobile application – Etiqa+, so the completed mobile game has to seamlessly exist within the application itself. A prototype is to be delivered by the end of this module, with constant moderation and feedback provided by our lecturer Mr. Jacob as well as Etiqa’s development and public relations team.

The mobile game proposed in this project is titled Etiqa Clash. The game is a one-versus-one, territory control game. The game has the player control units and place them in different tiles to automatically conquer them. The goal is to conquer more tiles than your opponent before the timer runs out. This game incorporates a mixture of real-time strategy, tower defense, resource management and card building elements. Utilizing references from a variety of existing games on the market, we were able to come up with a unique gameplay style built for current generation mobile devices.
